FAQ
Questions parents ask.
Straight answers from what Classrooms actually offers today.
An AI literacy app for kids ages 2–12. Scripted missions teach when to trust AI, when to question it, and how to research, create, and fact-check responsibly. Classrooms does not use open conversational AI with your child.
Parents buy and manage the Family plan. Kids play through age worlds under a parent or guardian account. Teachers can create free class accounts separately for school use.
Free AI tools are open-ended. They keep context, leave data trails, and ask kids for judgment they may not be ready for. Classrooms is scripted, age-banded, and outcome-focused: judgment, verification, privacy, and creativity, with a parent dashboard so you can see what they finished and talk about it at home.
Three monthly plans: Starter $19.99, Family $39.99, and Household $99.99. Billed monthly, cancel anytime, no ads. Safety and privacy are the same on every plan. One free lesson per age world is available without an account. Full details live on the pricing page.
Classrooms is COPPA-aware. Parents consent before child information is collected. Kid profiles keep a first name or nickname, avatar icon, and lesson progress. No ads, no selling personal information, no behavioral marketing profiles. Voice audio stays on device. Because there is no open AI conversation with your child, lesson content does not become a private chat with a model. See the Classrooms privacy policy and Safety & trust.
It can complement them. Schools get free teacher accounts, assignable missions, and standards tags. At home, the Family plan keeps the same literacy path going with your parent dashboard. For school pilots, start at classrooms.hellodilly.com/schools.
Same company, different stage. Classrooms is AI literacy for kids growing up with AI. The main Dilly app on hellodilly.com is career readiness for verified college students. Early skills here; first careers there.
